Sports Massage Therapy

Sports massage therapy is not exclusively for the sporty. 

Anyone can benefit from this therapy as it can be tailored to your individual requirements, whether that be general relaxation and wellbeing or recovery from a workout or event or just keeping you pain free and helping with mobility.

It can help to improve and correct postural imbalances associated with repetitive movements, loosen areas of tightness and lengthen the muscles.

This therapy is perfect to include alongside any kind of health and wellness regime or workout schedule by reducing recovery time and risk of injury.

Yoga

Giving you time out of your day to pause in amongst the chaos of life. 

Helping you find that connection between mind and body.

Breathing in calmness and clarity and exhaling all the stresses of the daily grind.

My aim is to offer friendly, accessible yoga classes that are suitable for everyone.

My teaching style is light-hearted with lots of alternative options if anything seems out of reach.

Providing a safe space for your practice to evolve, I teach mindfully, using sound anatomical principles as the foundation to help you gain an awareness of your body and help build strength and flexibility.

Pilates

Pilates is designed to lengthen, align and sculpt the muscles, balance the body and correct posture.  Focusing  on correct technique and breathing so you get the most out of each movement. 

If you suffer with back problems Pilates can be incredibly helpful.  By building strength in the muscles that help to stabilize the spine many clients find their back issues reduce dramatically.

Adding Pilates to your workout schedule will assist you in all areas of your life, building strength through the core and creating increased mobility throughout the body you will feel fitter, stronger and have increased body awareness allowing you to perform day to day tasks and activities with reduced pain and risk of injury.

I will take you through a series of mat based exercises to mobilise all the major joints and the spine,  building core stability and strength throughout the body.

Pilates can help with general mobility, body awareness and back and joint pain.

Exercises can be adapted for most fitness abilities.
